It’s not a project.
It’s not a portfolio.
It’s a window into the inside of my head.

I work across mediums, roles, and realities. One moment behind a camera, the next inside code, then painting with grain, glitch, ink, or silence. My tools change shape. My ideas don’t ask for a format, they arrive, and I follow.

My liberated alter ego.
My creative label.
My gateway into the world I don’t need permission to build.
Where I make the things I wish existed.

If you’re here, step in.
Welcome to the world of BØCKRIDER.
Hold on tight,

The goat isn’t meant to walk.
It’s meant to fly.

DAAN THOMAS PODT

a.k.a. BØCKRIDER

BASED ON folklore

BØCKRIDER isn’t just a name it’s a fragment of folklore, pulled out of the dark forests and misty fields of Limburg.
It comes from the legend of de Bokkerijders: the “goatriders” who were said to travel through the night sky on the backs of horned beasts. Outlaws. Spirits. Rebels who slipped past the edge of reality.

People claimed they saw them everywhere.
On rooftops.
Across borders.
In places they couldn’t possibly be.

But maybe the truth is simpler:
Maybe they didn’t fly, maybe they just moved in too many ways, with too many faces, too many roles for one world to track.

I work as many things, director, photographer, DOP, artist, whatever the idea demands. I don’t sit still. I don’t fit into one title. I move through mediums like the Bokkerijders moved through night: fast, free, uncatchable.
